National Parks Realty invites high school and college age students across Northwest Montana to share their voice, vision, and love for the landscape we call home. One winning piece will be published in our annual Epic Landscapes magazine — a celebration of the stories that connect people to place.
Grand Prize
-One winner will have their story featured in the 2025 edition of Epic Landscapes, a print and digital publication.
-The winner will also be recognized at the Epic Landscapes launch party hosted by National Parks Realty.
Submission Guidelines
-Open to all Northwest Montana High School and College students
-A non fiction or creative non fiction piece (500 – 800 words) focused on life, place, nature, adventure, or community in Northwest Montana.
-Personal narratives, essays, or place-based reflections are welcome.
-Minimum of 500 words - Maximum of 800 words
-Must be an original, unpublished writing piece and not AI generated
-Deadline to enter is 11:59 PM on April 30, 2025
Judging Criteria
Your writing will be evaluated by our panel of local residents, National Parks Realty agents, and community leaders.
